Applications Software Engineer (ASE103)
Job Description
Develop, create and modify visual basic programs for
accounting and reporting; develop, create and modify
reports using Java JSP for sponsor reporting; administer
Microsoft SQL server through development, system test,
and partial conversion; convert logical database designs
to physical implementations; manage all aspects of database
administration, data administration, backup, disaster
recovery, and database security; migrate data between
Foxpro and SQL server. Maintain and administer FoxPro
achieved data.
Requires B.S. in Computer Science or Computer Engineering,
or foreign equivalent; experience to include SQL database
design and administration, Foxpro 2.6 for DOS, and work
on accounting reports; must have two years of experience
in Visual Basic application software development with
SQL database interface.
