Applications Software Engineer (ASE104)
Job Description
Develop, modify and create applications to ensure that business
transactions are accurately and promptly processed using J2EE technology;
administer SilverStream Application Servers and JBoss application
servers with SQL Databases. Create FoxPro applications for migration of
data to SQL Databases. Monitor the FAA tests; design and test FAA
applicant module and Test Administration module; design and develop FAA
Test Drive application; work with SQL server and writing SQL
procedures/scripts to clean-up data and generate score reports to
provide to FAA. Write Java JSP reports for sponsor interface on
WEB Servers and Java applications.
Requires B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, or foreign equivalent;
experience to include SQL database design and administration, application
servers, and work on statistical reports; must have three years of
experience as a Software Engineer / Developer in JAVA application
development with SQL database interface.
